This communication from Tranzit outline their fee changes effective Term 3 2024.
They have also provided us with details below around term passes and 10 trip ticket passes.
Term Passes:
We have implemented a change to our term pass arrangements on our Commercial School Services.
From Term 3, when a parent comes to the Napier or Whakatu Depot to purchase a term pass, they will be issued with a red temporary pass that the student will need to show on the bus.
We will then fill out our term specific term pass with details, laminate this, and get it to the bus driver to swap with the temporary pass, and the temporary pass will be destroyed.
There is little impact to parents and students, aside from the student is now required to show the term pass each and every time they board the bus.
Please see link below, which parents can use to purchase a term pass online. When purchased online, we will get the term pass to the correct driver within a few days, but initially the student can show the confirmation email on their phone or via a printed copy.

10 Trip Tickets:
These can also be purchased online on the below link.
When the confirmation comes through, the 10 trip ticket will be issued to the driver with the students name so they can pass it out.

Please note: 10 trip tickets and term passes can still be purchased from either office or on the bus. The online is just a way for parents to avoid having to find cash etc.
