Start of day / lateness

Parents / caregivers are reminded that classes start at 8:30am.

We are experiencing an increase in students being dropped off at 8:30am and arriving late to Period 1.

Part of your son’s education is preparing him to function in the adult world / workforce. ‘Managing self’, meeting deadlines and being on time are all foundation skills. Moreover, students arriving late are disruptive to Period 1 classes – planning and others’ learning.

We have expectations and standards related to punctuality. If your son is late on multiple occasions, without a genuine reason, they may receive a Deans’ Detention.

Year 9 Enrolment for 2025

If you, or your whānau / friends, have a Y8 son planning to enrol for 2025 – this is a reminder that enrolments are due now. This applies to in and out-of-zone families. Parents and whānau can learn more and enrol here.

Y13 Leavers Gear

The 2024 Leavers Catalogue and information related to ordering can be viewed here. An app alert & email was sent in Week 4 to Y13 students and their parents.
