Junior Assessment Week
Junior Assessment Week for Y9 and Y10 students is through Week 7. Assessments are for one hour in each subject. Y9s have formal assessments for their core classes – English, Science, Mathematics and Social Studies. Y10s have assessments for their core classes and two options.
One intention of the formal assessments at Y9 and Y10 is to build opportunities for our young men to familiarise themselves with some of the experiences they will face in the senior school.

Junior Service Week
At Napier Boys’ High School we acknowledge some of the key values to becoming a good young man are founded on integrity, respect and manaakitanga for our wider community.
Following the Junior Assessment Week we are providing the opportunity for your son to be involved in a service programme. Core subject classes will engage in a cross-curricular programme culminating with a donated food drive. The programme is an opportunity for our students to demonstrate leadership, including some senior students who will be onsite at this time.
If you have any queries related to the Junior Service Week, or would like to discuss how you could help, please email Grant Bundle, Senior Master, gbundle@nbhs.school.nz
