NCEA Late Submission Policy
We would appreciate your support to ensure that your son meets the set deadlines for their internal assessments. Most NCEA internal assessments are completed during class time. Students can submit their work electronically through MS Teams or by completing in-class assessments.
If your son requires an extension past this deadline you are required to complete this form.
Extensions will be granted upon completion of the form and one of the following scenarios:
- illness, accident, bereavement, or a family crisis
- timetabled school activities, such as field trips
- sporting or other fixtures where a student is required to represent the school
- national or regional representation in sport or other activities.
Where the school receives no communication around a missed deadline, NZQA requires that the school report a Not Achieved grade.
